Michael H. Merino was admitted to practice law in Florida in 1995. He received his J.D. from Mercer University after studying in Madrid, Spain through the College of William and Mary's International Law program. He is a licensed member of the Florida Bar and a licensed Florida real estate broker.
Mr. Merino's law practice is devoted to real estate law, with a special focus on residential and commercial foreclosure defense.

Nicole "Nikki" H. Fried, Esq.
The firm's senior associate attorney, Nicole “Nikki” Fried graduated from the University in Florida in 2003 with her J.D. and M.A. in political campaigning. She also earned her B.S. in political science from the University of Florida in 1998. Ms. Fried is the lead lawyer in Michael H. Merino, P.A.'s foreclosure defense litigation department.
Ms. Fried's previous legal experience includes more than three years as an Assistant Public Defender and serving as Felony Division Chief. Prior to becoming an Assistant Public Defender, Ms. Fried practiced in Holland & Knight’s Jacksonville litigation department. Ms. Fried is admitted to practice in Florida since 2003 and is also admitted to practice in the United States Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
Ms. Fried was, and continues to be, actively involved at the University of Florida. While acting Student Body President, Ms. Fried was appointed by Florida's Governor to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Blue Key leadership honorary and is immortalized in the University of Florida Hall of Fame. Ms. Fried now serves on the University of Florida's Governmental Relations Advisory Committee.
